Maths1to1 service is simple to follow:

the first instance you may wish to email me a general query about ‘MATHS1to1’
and the services available.

Alternatively you may wish to proceed directly to a query concerning your own
requirements. In which case: - email me with your requirements and the
approximate date of any examination you wish to sit.

WHAT
HAPPENS THEN?
I will
answer by email. I normally ask for more details to clarify your requirements
precisely. When it is clear to me what you require I will suggest a course
designed to meet your requirements.
WHAT DO
I PAY FOR?
The
Course designed for you will set out the proposed modules, their basic content
and the cost per module. A module is designed to be about 10 to 14 days work. A
full timed programme of study will also be suggested. You only pay for the
modules you require and payments may be made for the full course or for any
combination of modules at a time (minimum 2).
HOW DO
I PAY?
Payments can be made directly by cheque or via paypal.
WHAT
HAPPENS NEXT?
On
receipt of your payment, I will send you, by email in PDF format, the relevant
modules, but I can also supply the modules ready printed if you prefer.
WHAT DO
I DO THEN?
You
work through each modules at your own pace.
HOW
OFTEN DO I SUBMIT WORK FOR ASSESSMENT?
You
will periodically submit the progress tests by email for assessment. These
tests occur at frequent intervals so you will have the assurance that you have
fully understood the preceding work.
WHAT
HAPPENS IF I HAVE NOT UNDERSTOOD THE WORK?
Should
any test show that you have not fully understood the preceding work, I will send
you an alternative explanation by email and you may repeat that particular
section of the course should you wish. Of course you may email queries at any
time.
HOW
WILL I KNOW I HAVE FULLY UNDERSTOOD THE STUDY MATERIAL?
At the
end of each module there is an assessment test which again you complete and
submit be email. Again I will follow up on any weaknesses in understanding
revealed with alternative approaches and suggestions.
CAN I
HAVE A TRY-OUT FIRST?
Should
you wish to set yourself a practice examination prior to the full examination, I
can supply these at separate cost, which will, of course, include marking and
revision feedback.
WILL
YOU KNOW WHAT I WANT?
Yes, because once I know what syllabus you are to follow, I will compile your
course using the appropriate modules. If I do not have an appropriate module
in my library, I will prepare one specially at no extra cost.
